Denver officials cut ribbon at city branch of Tony's Market - Denver Business Journal:

The gourmet and specialty market -- a sister to several Tony's storew in the south Denver suburbs -- is at 950 Broadwa in the GoldenTriangle neighborhood, an area where the city has soughft to encourage redevelopment. The Denver Office of Economic Developmentprovideed financing, technical assistance and workforcse recruitment services for the Tony's originated as a butcher shop in what is now Centennial in 1978. It has since opened branches in Jefferson County and Castle Pines and also has an affiliatedfcatering business, Tony Rosacci's Fine Catering, in Centennial.
The new store takeds up 15,000 square feet of the firsgt floor of a building on Broadway and has an adjacentparkinb complex. The store also includes a restaurant. Slate to join Hickenlooper for the ribbon cutting were Denverf City Council PresidentJeanne Robb; Tony's Market foundet and president Tony Cec Ortiz, deputy director, Denver Officse of Economic Development; CEO Jon Lorenz; and Melindas Paterson, executive director, Franciscan Friends of the Tony's charity partner.
