Hawaiian Telcom, which is reorganizing under Chapter 11 said Thursday it will closde its Kapolei and Windward Mall stores on Oahu and the Lihu store on Kauai because of slackening demand and the high cost of maintainin gthe stores. The Kapolei location closee earlierthis week. The Windward locatioj will close June 9 and Lihue will closeJune 16. The compan y said 23 full- and part-time employeez will be affected bythe closures, but some employeex will be transferred withi n the company.
